K-12 Essay and Art Contest
Carolina Navigators is pleased to announce its first essay and art contests open to K-12 students who have had Carolina Navigators presenters visit their classrooms during the 2007-2008 school year. The aim of this contest is to encourage critical thinking and reflection about globally-themed issues, ideas and cultural practices they have been exposed to through Carolina Navigators presentations. The essays will also serve as an evaluative tool for Carolina Navigators in assessing the impact and effectiveness of its programs. The deadline for submissions is April 4, 2008.

New Presenter Training and Orientation
To participate in the program, new presenters must attend a training session. Presenter training is offered once each semester. Training sessions for the 2007-2008 school year are listed below.
