Programs

The Center for Global Initiatives is the institutional home to a wide variety of programs managed by a dedicated staff. 

The Rotary Peace Center and the World Bank Managers in Transition train professionals from around the world, while the Carolina Navigators and the Consortium for Teaching About Asia engages classrooms across North Carolina. 

Our student-led programs - Carolina for Kibera, the Honduran Health Alliance, and Great Decisions - focus on providing hands-on experiences to members.  Programs such as Languages Across the Curriculum, the Certificate in International Development, and the Institute for Sustainable Development are geared toward professional development and career advancement. And Global Music is just a lot of fun.

All of these programs reflect our entrepreneurial and nimble approach to fostering deeper knowledge and understanding of our complex world.
